The gas pressure regulating and metering facilities located at the junction of long-distance gas pipelines and urban gas transmission and distribution systems are referred to as urban gate stations. Gas from long-distance gas pipelines is first filtered to remove mechanical impurities, and then enters the urban gas transmission and distribution system through pressure regulators and flow meters. If gas needs to be odorized, it needs to go through the odorization device after pressure regulation and metering. When the pressure of gas entering or exiting the station exceeds the specified pressure, the safety device will automatically start. When a malfunction occurs inside the station, gas can be supplied through the bypass pipe. If a long-distance gas pipeline is cleaned with a pig, the pig receiving device can be located inside the gas gate station for centralized management. The gate station is a highly integrated system that integrates functions such as gas cleaning and filtration, pressure regulation, heating, metering, odorization, gas leakage alarm, and data collection and monitoring, with extremely high integrity and reliability.
